Hi Trek TV Friends, Your podcast covering The Undiscovered country was wonderful. Three Hours 19 minutes 18 seconds and it never felt over long. At some point Vaughn mentioned a recording time past four hours, so he musta done some editing..musta been a massive job. What got cut? An hour of Tracy's bawdily themed humor? Speaking of vagina jokes, I just learned from a science podcast called TWIS that Bacula means "multiple penis bones" which is not important now but will be when Trek TV is covering Enterprise and I just wanted to mention that in case I die before then. The stories shared by you, My TrekTV Friends, about your selves and your experiences with the con, cos play, meeting Shatner and how you've adopted him as your Grandmpa were entertaining, emotionally engaging and thoughtful. Tracy's ruminations on Trek as a vehicle to help her imagine life beyond the dim expectations small town life can engender surely spoke to many, I'll just bet. I share her "No new TV cuz theres so much old Trek" sentiment, but if she thinks the Cumberholmes is worth a looksee why not? OMG it is good. Dang,Lets have a long compare and contrast…Study in Scarlet V Pink, No? Ok. Episode number 91 was full of, indeed chock full of,Trek TVs signature wordplay and rhythm such as Vaughn's "You don't wanna get fucked over by a trick pickle" I love that because it's the sort of alliterative quip I'd likely strive to arrive at but only after hours of thesaurus work, fine tuning and turning to Mr Locke for grammar and Dr Fritz for peer review And Jared. Jared if you haven't already done so please fly down to LA , then find someone to pitch your whodunnit about a sleuthing duck who picks locks with his private dick, to. And hows that new theme song coming? I'm glad to have mine still used, honored and thrilled, but would be happy aswell to cede the plum spot to you. I've had my day. Howza bout last weeks mail bag? Plump! I was blown away by Kaelins reading and indeed the production of her audio email. I loved it and frankly that's an understatement. I can't believe how good that was. I imagine the CBC will be in touch soon. I was swamped with work the day the podcast uploaded, doing revisions on a batch of deadline elapsed kid book illustrations that had long since stopped being fun to do and the remuneration's never great, so it was awesome to have such a generous Trek TV to paint to and ease the pain. Thankyou I am and shall always be yours truely
