Through the looking glass
From: Colin H
Greetings Trekkies Wow two years, I've known you longer than some girlfriends, plus I still write to you! Anyway let's get this merry ness on it's way as the end is now near. Cue Frank Sinatra singing in the background. So Ol Jimmy and his mates beam down to find old man balls Mr A to Z or Atoz. Old man balls not being the sharpest tool in the box, thinks they are locals who have not departed. Leaving them to choose a destination he goes off and old coot two turns up. Now clearly they are clones, but seeing as his going to join his family do the others have clone families to go to. Or will they just die in a fire?. The other question I have is this planet is going to blow in four hours. Would a dying sun not be giving off massive solar flares and radiation?. Talking of a dying race these guys can travel through time using compact discs, but could not colonise another planet? Really!. Then there is the gateway, Kirk is watching a western and ends up in a scene from the Scarlett pimpernel, although trust him to find a woman. Now the other two, McCoy cannot stand the cold, fine that makes sense, but Spock who is from what to all intents and purposes is a hot volcanic planet can? Plus why is only Spock de evolving not both of them. Using the same argument wouldn't McCoy be more savage as well. Ah then there is the lovely touch of both women in both time slots being criminals. Obviously the women of this planet are not to be trusted. Still I thought the communication wall was cool. Bit harder to carry than a communicator though. Also did any one else have images of the wailing wall in there head. There is also Kirks wonderful barrel roll, although someone may have got a shock when a trolley appears out of nowhere and hits them. Finally Spock whose tricorders works in the past but not his phaser. Spock must morn a lost love with no one to steal his memories. I recommend vodka. Live long and podcast Colin
