Play misty for me
From: Colin H
Hello one and all Well a warm welcome back from your travels and podcast hiatus. All to soon the fun ends and work begins, time flies while your having fun. Before I comment on the episode may I thank Mark for his kind words on my podcast appearance. If a forum ever develops on the trektv site I have a feeling this family will be great. Now to the episode. An episode where We see Kirk suffers from OCD, McCoy needs a drink(again) and Spock tries to block a Vent with his hand, very logical. I like to think that the shiny spangly vampire was the inspiration for Twighlight and Vampire dairies. After all they are all about twinkly vampires who smell nice. You have to think though that Kirk would have smelled honey at some point over the intervening years, or maybe the galley don't carry Bee based products. Speaking of Bees I could not help but smile that every time there was a honey reference the buzz saw went off In the background. Kind of ironic that it was being used at the time of recording. In this episode we get to see that the triumvirate of Kirk, Spock and McCoy has limits. The limit being when Kirk sees how many red shirts he can kill before someone complains. Do you think he was killing red shirts because there was no one else to kill, plus no one to shag. Ah where's yeoman Rand when you need her or a planet to genocide. Incidentally when you get to the last episode of TOS are you planning on doing anything special?. I think a round table discussion of the series would be great, comprising of all those that have hosted and co hosted the show. Just a thought. Well I am off to watch Clint Eastwood. Live long and podcast Colin.
