Clan of the Cave Kirk or Gooood Morning Zeta Boötis III!
From: Marc Thomas
Hi Trek TV Friends, I so want to know what podcast Collin was on. Here's hoping for a bump in Trek TV's ratings. Collin is such an asset to the show. Quite the cleavage contest between Kirk and Cave-Girl Nona. Private Little War is an interesting episode, Once again the prime directive is front and center. The Cold War analogy works well enough in broad strokes. If Kirk's reluctant intervention leans the politics of the story to the right, the left gets a nod in the warm embrace given to alternative medicine. Funny story, I went to the local organic food co-op to get more mahku root and had to wait in the check-out line behind a mirror universe Klingon seeking some assurance that his vegan gak was casein and gluten free. I was wondering if you'd consider the M'Benga/ Spock sub plot, a B story. This episode is so grim that 'Spock on the verge of death' was the light-hearted part of the episode. Notice how condescending doctors are to nurses in Star Trek? Real nurses hate that. And we all got to meet Dustin. Quite an outing, this four man show, Lotza singing too. Despite his dissing of TOS, Collin and Myself, I will take the high road here and express my appreciation for his reservoir of bonobo related information. I really do wish that every subsequent episode, series and film of the Trek franchise had concerned itself exclusively with the mugato apes. Actually, they have tails, so they may be monkeys. Here's a trivium, the make-up artist responsible for Spock's pointed ears, went on to chimpanzify Roddy McDowell and Company in the film Planet of The Apes. In other Ape news. My bonobo girlfriend found out that I was into TOS, so she left me for Dustin. Damn! This always happens to me. Girls like TNG . Why can't I remember that? One more simian matter, thanks for posting my space apes picture. For most of the past decade I'd kinda lost the muse for drawing and painting, then I heard you guys asking for fan art, went over to the web page, found Julian's awesome Bolian all alone there and took up your invitation to contribute. It has been so much fun. Ending on a note of sincerity, Marc Thomas
